Interpretation of Test Scores:
Lucas scored mostly 3s and 4a with 3s being the highest. Lucas would be good for the average owner, whether a first time or second time dog owner. He can be a high-energy dog and may need lots of exercise. He would generally be good with people, other animals, and children. He will need to have structure and follow a consistent schedule at his new home. He will need training but he will do very well at it and learn quickly. Lucas scored well with Touch Sensitivity but consistent brushing and nail trimming is still highly encouraged. The more he's exposed to these grooming practices, the more he will become desensitized. Also, ensure that when you go to the vet, bring treats so that you can reinforce that positive experience of being handled by strangers. Lucas was very relaxed and friendly during the test.
Other Observations:
From what we've observed over the weeks, Lucas is a sleepy head. He is growing a lot so he is sleeping a lot around this time. When he is awake, he's playful and plays well with others. When we introduced our cat to him, he was curious but a little hesistant at first. Then after a little while, he started gettin more comfortable and followed the cat around wagging his tail. He may need some time warming to new places and new people but he will do well in time. You can't go wrong with Lucas as he is friendly and loveable. With proper socialization and training he'll make a well rounded dog someday.
