personality: zach is a big sweetheart. he is a friendly and gentle boy. he is playful and loves human interaction. he is attentive, affectionate, and loves attention. often times, we catch zach watching tv. he seems to have the longest attention span compared to the others. lol! he is a big cuddler. during the temperament test, zach was a little nervous at first but warmed up quickly. he was very pleasant during the test and was easy to work with.
Note: The volhard puppy aptitude test is simply a snapshot of what a puppy is like now but may have little bearing on what the pup will be as an adult. this temperament test is only a point in time, and factors like sleepiness or simply an off-day can impact testing. proper socialization, desensitization, and training in the first few months of a puppy's life are crucial components in shaping a dog's adult life. what we, as the breeder, observe over these past weeks hold more weight than this test, in our humble opinion. with that said, take these results with a grain of salt.
volhard puppy aptitude test results & recommendation: mostly 4s.
zach would be good for the average home, whether a first time or second time dog owner. He can be a high-energy dog and may need lots of exercise. He would generally be good with people, other animals, children, and elderly. He will need to have structure and follow a consistent schedule at his new home. He will need training but he will do very well at it and learn quickly. Socialization and desensitization training should continue at new home especially during the first year of his life but most especially during the first 12 weeks.
